The 1,450 × 800 mm feed throat handles materials up to 150 MPa hardness, covering medium-and-soft natural stones (limestone, sandstone) and recycled construction-waste streams where reinforcing steel and contamination call for an impact box rather than a cone. Compression strength above 150 MPa puts the application outside the manufacturer's stated range.

≤150 MPa material range — soft/medium stone and concrete waste

Material hardness limit ≤150 MPa covers limestone, sandstone, and recycled construction-waste streams including concrete and concrete-with-rebar feeds where reinforcing steel rules out cone crushers. Above 150 MPa (granite, basalt) the application sits outside manufacturer-stated range — for hard-rock crushing the cone-crusher siblings (XGY1100D) are the right pick.
