Cuts fuel burn vs a direct-drive diesel that must respond to instantaneous load changes, and supports zero-emission battery-only operation in short bursts where ambient regulations require.

9 m max paving width with four-support telescopic screed

Basic paving width 3.0-6.0 m extending to 9 m max via four-support hydraulic telescopic screed. 9 m max width covers wide municipal and grade-highway laydown in one pass, splitting the gap between the 7.5 m RP705 class and the 12.5 m+ RP1253T flagship class. Single-vibration eccentric compaction, hydraulic height adjustment, and arch adjustment built into the screed configuration. 300 mm max paving thickness.

Screed Heating

DC electric screed heating — fast warmup, electric efficiency

Screed plate uses DC electric heating drawn from the hybrid battery — faster warmup than diesel-fired propane systems and lower idle fuel burn during pre-laydown screed heat-up. Variable-power DC heating control supports consistent screed plate temperature across long laydown sections regardless of ambient. Compatible with the new-energy drivetrain — heating draws from the same battery that powers propulsion.

Controls

10.1-inch LCD HMI with ultrasonic level sensing and auto-leveling

10.1-inch LCD HMI for operator interface with the domestic XCMG controller. Ultrasonic material level sensing controls auger feed rate to maintain consistent head of material in front of the screed — critical for surface evenness on long laydown sections. Electronic automatic leveling for cross-slope precision. Left and right tracks independently driven with constant speed automatic control technology to hold paving speed against grade and load changes.
