XCMG RP1253T Asphalt Paver

Basic paving width 3 m extending to 12.5 m maximum. At 12.5 m the paver covers standard dual-carriageway lane widths in one pass — cuts longitudinal joint count by half vs a 7.5 m compact paver, raising surface durability and finish acceptance on highway base/binder course work. 500 mm max paving thickness supports thick single-lift placements on subbase work.

1,200 t/h theoretical productivity with 15 t hopper supporting continuous truck handover on long laydown runs. Working speed 20 m/min, travel speed 3 km/h. Sized for projects where daily laydown tonnage demands wide-screed capacity — sustained throughput is what distinguishes the large paver class from compact-class units at half the productivity.

Powered by the Shangchai SC9DF330 diesel rated 243 kW, Stage III emission. Shangchai is a long-established Chinese diesel engine manufacturer with parts and service networks across mainland China and major export markets. The SC9DF is a 9-liter inline-six diesel platform used across construction equipment and commercial vehicles for parts pool overlap.

RP1253T sits at the top of XCMG's universal tracked paver lineup.
