XCMG RP705 Asphalt Paver

Basic paving width 2.5-5.0 m extending to 7.5 m max via the standard E500B four-support hydraulic screed. The four-support configuration supports tampers, vibrators, hydraulic crown adjustment, and optional hydraulic height adjustment for crown/cross-slope precision on municipal road work. 7.5 m max covers standard two-lane laydown in one pass on municipal arterials.

Powered by the Cummins QSB4.5 diesel rated 119 kW, EU Stage III emission. 4.5-liter inline-four diesel from the Cummins B-Series — established service and parts networks across global Cummins dealer channels. Same engine platform across the RP705 and RP705C siblings for shared parts pool; RP705i steps up to Stage V via the related B4.5 variant.

600 t/h theoretical productivity — double the 300 t/h mini-class units and half the 1,200-1,300 t/h highway flagships. 13 t hopper supports continuous truck handover on sustained laydown sections. Working speed 23 m/min, travel speed 4 km/h. Sized for daily municipal tonnage where a 12.5 m unit is oversize but a 4.5 m unit can't keep up with hot-mix supply rate.

Sits between the 4.5 m RP405/RP455W small class and the 12.5 m+ RP1253T/RP1255T/RP1355HD highway flagship class. Three RP705 variants for project fit: RP705 (this unit, Stage III), RP705C (highway surface course screed config), RP705i (EU Stage V emission). Choose RP705 for general municipal projects where Stage III emission is accepted and lower transport height (2,930 mm) helps with overpass clearance on inter-site moves.

Engine, screed extensions, augers, tampers, conveyor and hopper components share core part numbers with the RP705C and RP705i siblings — fleet operators running mixed 7.5 m XCMG paver variants carry a single core parts inventory.
