Cummins 6CTA8.3-C215 main engine, 160 kW at 2,200 rpm (about 215 HP), EU Stage II emission. 13 percent more power than the GR180's 142 kW from the same 8.3-liter C-Series Cummins platform. Sized for sustained heavy-duty grading cycles where the GR180 runs out of headroom but the heavy-duty GR215A traction envelope is not needed.
Specified for highway, airport, farmland, urban and rural road, water conservancy, farmland improvement, and snow removal work. Also rated for heavy-duty and mining areas. Suitable for sites where light-to-medium mining haul-road maintenance overlaps with general road construction in the same fleet.
