XCMG GR135 Motor Grader

11.2-ton machine weight is the lightest in the D-Series range — 4-ton lower than the GR165 (15 t) and 5.3-ton lower than the GR215 (16.5 t). Lower trailer payload requirement for inter-site transit. 8,015 mm overall length and 6.6 m minimum turning radius — tightest in the D-Series. Fits municipal sites with narrow lanes and farmland projects with frequent relocation.

Cummins 6BTA5.9 main engine — the 5.9-liter B-Series Cummins platform widely fielded across construction and on-highway truck markets globally. 112 kW at 2,200 rpm (about 150 HP), EU Stage II emission. Parts pool overlap with thousands of B-Series Cummins engines already in service across XCMG export markets reduces inventory carrying cost.

Specified for ground leveling, ditching, slope scraping, bulldozing, scarification, and snow removal on highways, airports, farmlands, urban and rural roads, water conservancy projects, and farmland improvement. The lighter weight and tighter turning radius matches municipal road maintenance, farmland improvement, and smaller-scale rural roadwork where heavier 16-ton-class graders are oversized.

The GR165 sibling adds 3.8 t weight, 20 kW power, and 18 kN extra traction (77 kN vs 59 kN). Choose GR135 when the project's grading duty cycle is light and transport mobility matters. Choose GR165 when heavier urban or rural work is in scope. The 3,660 mm blade is the same on both — pass width does not change.
