XCMG XTF1403R Asphalt Synchronous Chips Sealing Vehicle

Sprays binder asphalt and distributes aggregate chips synchronously in a single pass — chips embed in fresh binder before partial curing. Produces a denser seal coat than separate-spray-then-spread sequences with a binder-truck-and-chip-spreader pair, and removes the timing coordination required between two trucks.

8 m³ asphalt tank and 14 m³ gravel silo vs the XTF1003 sibling at 6 m³ asphalt and 10 m³ gravel — 33 percent more asphalt volume and 40 percent more gravel volume per resupply cycle. Fewer round-trips back to the binder plant and aggregate stockpile per shift on long continuous seal sections.

Sprays four binder types from the same truck: rubber asphalt, matrix asphalt, modified asphalt, and emulsified asphalt. Handles different seal-coat specifications across mixed project portfolios without changing machines — rubber asphalt for high-traffic interlayer treatment, emulsified for lower-traffic rural road work.

Mounted on a Sinotruck 8×4 chassis (4 axles, 2 driven) powered by the Weichai WP10.380E22 engine, 280 kW at 2200 r/min, China Stage II emission. 8×4 chassis class supports the heavier 22000 kg curb weight from the larger asphalt and gravel storage. 12 percent more engine power than the XTF1003 sibling's 250 kW.

Application coverage: lower and upper seal coat work, wearing-course construction on new and existing pavement, asphalt-pavement layer-spread method, plus separate asphalt and gravel spreading where the project requires. Used for interlayer treatment and medium-cycle maintenance on high-grade highways and full pavement work on rural roads with lower traffic.
