Density range covers cement dosing for cold-recycling pavement (typically 3-6 percent cement by mass of recycled material) at the upper end and light-binder roadbed treatment at the lower end. ±5 percent precision is the working tolerance for spec-bound cold-recycling and stabilized-soil mix proportions.
