It sprays emulsified, diluted, hot, and modified asphalt at controlled rate across the 0.2–3.0 kg/m² range — the controller holds spraying density independent of truck speed.
The 250 kW Weichai WP10.300E22 engine and 16,100 kg curb weight handle high-volume highway production. The 14.7 m³ tank is 37 percent larger than the XLS1203 (10.7 m³) and 67 percent larger than the XLS905A (8.8 m³) at the same 6 m spraying width — fewer refill stops per shift on long-haul national highway projects where the asphalt supply truck would otherwise drive cycle time. The 6×4 chassis (versus 4×2 on the XLS905A and XLS1203) accommodates the heavier loaded weight on highway maintenance and new-construction work.
