It sprays emulsified, diluted, hot, and modified asphalt at controlled rate across the 0.2–3.0 kg/m² range — the controller holds spraying density independent of truck speed so output per square meter stays within target on long passes and short pulls.
The 162 kW Yuchai YC6J220-33 engine and 11,200 kg curb weight handle highway daily output. The 10.7 m³ tank is 22 percent larger than the XLS905A (8.8 m³) at the same 6 m spraying width and same engine, supporting longer continuous passes between asphalt refills on national and provincial highway projects. The XLS1203 is the mid tier of the XLS 6 m highway-class group — between the XLS905A (8.8 m³) and the XLS1505A (14.7 m³ on a 6×4 chassis). Choose XLS1203 when daily output target needs more capacity than the XLS905A but the project doesn't justify stepping up to the 6×4 XLS1505A with its 16-ton curb weight.
