XCMG XAP205 Asphalt Mixing Plant

2,500 kg per batch nominal mixing capacity delivers 200 t/h rated productivity. 14 percent more per-batch volume than the XAP165 (2,200 kg/batch) and 25 percent higher hourly throughput. Per-batch volume matched to dual-truck high-cadence loading — single batch fills two 1.25 t paving trucks back-to-back without re-mix delay.

1,085 m² minimum installation area on a 35 m × 31 m footprint — identical to the XAP165 (160 t/h). No yard space penalty for the 25 percent throughput upgrade from the XAP165. Project camps with fixed plant pads sized for the XAP165 will accept the XAP205 directly. 8 percent smaller than the XAP245 (1,156 m²).

455 kW total required operating power with 110 kW maximum single-unit draw — only 19 kW (4 percent) above the XAP165 (436 kW) despite the 25 percent throughput gain. The per-unit motor sizing peaks at 110 kW from the XAP165 class onwards; the XAP205 reuses the same single-unit motor sizing. Transformer and feeder infrastructure sized for the XAP165 will run the XAP205 without rework.

Specified for classified road construction, municipal road projects, and freight yard paving where peak hourly asphalt demand sits in the 200 t/h class. Produces standard asphalt mixture and modified asphalt mixture from the same plant configuration. Suited to highway segment paving with high-cadence dual-truck loading, large municipal infrastructure projects, and freight-yard work running multi-shift production.

Sits between the XAP165 (160 t/h) and XAP245 (240 t/h) in the XCMG XAP stationary lineup.
