6-ton luffing-jib tower crane, 420 m drum capacity — the extended-reeving variant of the XGL80 platform, providing additional rope margin for higher line-count configurations at the 135.5 m maximum attached height. 80 t·m lifting moment, 40 m max working range. Free-standing 39.5 m. (Standard-reeving variant: XGL80E-6S with 400 m drum.)
The XCMG XGL80-6S is a 6-ton luffing-jib tower crane built for housing construction, bridge work, nuclear and thermal power station projects, and large public venues — applications where a fixed-position crane stays on site for months and where rooftop airspace constraints favor a luffing jib over a flat-top horizontal jib.
The 80 t·m rated lifting moment delivers 6-ton capacity at minimum radius and 1.6 tons at the maximum 40 m working range. Free-standing height is 39.5 m without external tie-back; with climbing attachment to the building structure, operational height reaches 135.5 m for mid-rise construction. The S-series control architecture inherits the hydraulic and electrical conventions of XCMG's truck crane platform, shortening the operator transition for crews moving between mobile and tower-crane equipment.
