XCMG XC938-EV Electric Wheel Loader

2.1 m³ bucket and 3500 kg rated load. Sits between the XC918-EV (1.0 m³ / 1.8 t) and XC968-EV (3.5 m³ / 6 t) in the XCMG electric loader range. Sized for urban construction loading, mid-size cement plant feed, infrastructure work, and recycling yard operation where the XC918-EV is too small but the XC968-EV is oversized.

7.6 m overall length matches the XC938 diesel sibling (7.35 m), with same 2.90 m wheelbase. Drop-in replacement for fleets currently running XC938 diesel in jurisdictions imposing diesel construction equipment bans or low-emission zone restrictions. Operator transition retains familiar reach, cab placement, and articulation characteristics.

Single 120 kW traveling motor for drive (vs dual-motor architecture on larger XC968-EV / XC975-EV), separate 36 kW hydraulic motor for bucket actuation. Simpler drive architecture than dual-motor units — fewer motor failure points and lower control complexity for the production loading work pattern at this size class.

Battery electric drive eliminates local exhaust emissions. Indoor cement plant feed operation, recycling material yard work, urban construction in low-emission zones. Lower operating noise enables night-shift work in noise-sensitive municipal projects.
