HST drive replaces a conventional torque converter and gearbox with hydrostatic pump-motor architecture. Stepless speed control from a single pedal — no fixed gear ratios. Smoother inching speed for pallet placement and attachment work, where torque-converter loaders fight the operator on slow-creep tasks. Reduced shock loading on the driveline during forward-reverse direction changes, lengthening driveline component life on shuttle-cycle work.
